Ndi Anambra, I thank the Governor of Anambra state Chief Willie Obiano for he has shown calm, resolute and courageous leadership; for being not afraid to take on vested interests, for being passionate that we have responsibility in our society from top to bottom, and for being determined that the promise of Anambra, "that the next generation will do better than the last", can be fulfilled. In Chief Willie Obiano, Ndi Anambra, we have a leader who is genuine, principled, honest and fair, a leader who speaks his mind and tells the truth, a leader in whom I believe we can ask the Anambra public to put their trust.
My people do not be distracted because our government is not and will never be distracted by political trivialities; rather your government is concentrating on how to give you the best. Our government rather than stand by and watch hoodlums take over the state, we are investing on Security so much to give investors the confidence to invest, we are doing it now. We are writing you because of what they told us (that we will fail), not what we told them, I can tell you that Anambra State is Working, Anambra is working with APGA, APGA can build a better future for Anambra, APGA can build an Igbo land where the promise of positively different Nigerian state is honoured once more. Umu nne m, it is more important that we win the public’s trust for an alternative future - a better way forward, by working and delivering on our promises rather than wasting time to join issues with some online/facebook politicians who may not know their ward's name and who have no voters' card to effect a change.
My people, I have not come online to spread doom and gloom; I have not logged on to spark a quarrel no that is not my aim. I have come to tell you the truth so that it will be on record that this is the position that we APGA YOUTHS took when it matters most, and to evoke a deep thought among our fellow Igbo comrade here and in Diaspora. We write due what has been described by some elites as the most depressing speeches and tales of falsehood by a few men who are defending the most indefensible error in modern political history of Ndi Igbo, “the blow- the- bridge after crossing act”.
People who are blinded by sentiments have failed to see beyond now and the intended result of that act. Let me not waste much time to an issue I have said worth not my time, but I have to tell those people saying that those that defected are doing so to get the Igbo share or protect our interest that they do not see beyond their own shadows. Defection of Leaders we groomed in our party to a party with purely different ideology to ours is not only a political deficit to APGA, it is to Igbo land.
Ndi Igbo, you all will agree with us that there no easy way forward, and that if there is any such encounter on our way as political deficit, we should all join hands to point to the right course once again and ensure that the deficit is effectively dealt with. Whatever the deficit may be we know there is a way forward for APGA recently, most people had predicted stagnation and even demise of APGA, but APGA rather have become more fortified by Turning the entire prediction of stagnation into prediction of growth and more development for the people, we have been challenged, and we must deliver.
Regards,
MUOZOBA JOHNBOSCO.
PRO APGA FRONT.
