NDI ANAMBRA AT A TIME LIKE THIS : THIS IS OUR POSITION.

On........................9/10/14.
My people, when history looks back on the great achievements of APGA in Government, the Infrastructural growth in Anambra will rank high, contrary to when PDP government closed down schools for 2 years here and nothing happened, when they tear-gassed the laity who protested and nothing happened. Ndi Anambra, remember that our children and youths need security for tomorrow, and they too should be part of our bargains for tomorrow not just for our generation acting on impulse. We can't just wish for a better future, we have to work for that future, and it requires faith and trust in one another.
Some people have speculated that Obi left APGA to enable him work fully for President Goodluck's second term. And I ask: in 2011 was Obi in PDP when Anambra voted 100% for Jonathan? Both parties (APGA & PDP) coalesced to in 2011 to deliver and it gave us result and stability here. Of course there was for a long time a structural relationship between our parties and there is a strong continuing friendship now that Willie Obiano is in charge. It is in the interests of the people of Anambra and in the interests of the people of the Ndi Igbo to encourage the development of healthier politics in our land, not this disorganize -them –style on display.
The decision of a beneficiary of our struggle to renege on the commitment of giving Ndi Igbo a voice through APGA is a huge error of judgment because Commitments matters a lot and we should beware of breaking our promises at all time. Our promises to the people, living and dead, were made in good faith and it has help establish the trust to develop Anambra and build the party; if we renege, we risk damaging lots and lots of foundations, then where will the continuity be?
In a situation like the one we meet face to face today as Ndi Anambra and loyal party men and women, we know the need to act now and act decisively to disprove the notion that one man is the soul of APGA. We are not ignorant of the fact that inescapably, some people may act on such imperfect information producing results that may fall short of the ideal of the party, APGA is way of life for those who know the true story of the party; nobody is indispensible in APGA and nobody is unwanted, our party door is ever wide open.
Most of us have not been appropriately briefed as per why we should wake up and bury APGA, the Ojukwu's precious legacy to Ndi Igbo, particularly Anambra state. By the way, the government today is doing precisely what we would want and expect a peoples' progress oriented government to do, for that reason the government should be supported, and I support it too and look forward to greater certainty and stability of programmes in Anambra state this time, not distractions that are uncalled for.
Let our people draw more inspiration from what is being achieved in Anambra recently and know that as a people, as a party, we have set out to ensure values of fairness, justice and equality that would have their place alongside seemingly irreconcilable individual freedoms and collective expressions in the state.
As we look to our own future, and what we can achieve for our state in that future, remember Anambra state, build your faith in God of the land and controller of the universe, keep faith in your government and your party. Always remember that APGA achievement was built on better values, shared values, a better book of rules that cannot be dismissed because of personal interest of a few who are on political adventure to Abuja. Support APGA to turn Anambra to a reference point in terms of growth and stability. Live APGA, Work APGA, and Vote APGA to ensure that our Senators, Honourable Federal Representatives and State Assembly men and Women are people who are not controlled from quarters you all detest. However, remember that whether you are APGA or PDP, we shall coalesce to deliver President Goodluck Jonathan, but for other seats NO COMPROMISE, Vote APGA.
It will be done, for in Ndi Igbo it was done, and we will do it again. Keep on Campaigning, do not sleep because to Retain APGA in Anambra is a TASK that must be done.
VOTE APGA! NDI IGBO NKE ANYI BU NKE ANYI!
“Si ha haara any be anyi ooooo!”
ONYE NU YA KOORO IBE YA OOOOOOO!
MUOZOBA JOHBOSCO
PRO APGA FRONT
