ANAMBRA CENTRAL SENATORIAL ZONE, NEXT YEAR’S GENERAL ELECTION IS A CHOICE BETWEEN THE RIGHT KIND OF CHANGE AND THE WRONG KIND OF CHANGE, CHOOSE RIGHT!

On..................................29/10/14

The next year’s general election is a choice between a senator that will not talk in the senate except if AlhajiTinubu and Buhari allows, or “don’t talk –take money - keep mute” style of those urban guerillas and distant influence on a genuine Igbo opinion, and a senator that is yours, accessible, a constitutional reformer, a fighter for justice, rule of law champion and a long standing supporter of change.

The choice before Anambra Central Senatorial Zone in next year’s general election is clear; our people should choose whether we advance towards a new politics, where individuals have more say and more control over their lives and destiny or whether they should condone the do- nothing style of PDP Senators that had been there since the advent of democracy , and by so doing retreat into a discredited old politics by leaving power concentrated in the hands of the old elites who stay in Abuja and call themselves STAKEHOLDERS of the people, or still vote APC and produce yet another Senator that will not talk in the Senate except if Alhaji Tinubu and Buhari allows.
We progressives who believe in shifting power back to the people have been inspired to embrace the right kind of change not the wrong kind of change, we are inspired to support Chief Sir Victor Umeh in the project of representing Anambra Central at the Senate during the 2015-2019 legislative year because we believe in his capabilities or giving the entire Igbo nation a distinct voice on the floor of the house where the future of a new Nigeria will be decided in the next few years, and are determined to make his vision manifest.
The Chief Sir Victor Umeh we know is a constitutional reformer, a fighter for justice, rule of law champion and a long standing supporter of change. His first outing at the National Conference sent a chill down my spine, now is the time to set out the next stage of reform of our national constitution by sending people of his type to the Senate to champion the reshape of the terms of the debate about our constitutional future and accelerate the pace of change in our country - Nigeria.
Consequent to the foregoing, the next year’s general election is a choice between the new politics of inclusion that APGA introduced and the discredited old politics of those urban guerillas and distant influence on a genuine Igbo opinion.
The next year’s general election is a choice between agreeing to move ahead with democratically men of APGA whom you shall delegate to say your mind, and going back to those dark days when they stayed in Abuja and voted in favour of Obasanjo’s 3rd tenure without any wink.
It is a choice between the new politics of offering the people the chance of ensuring that your Senator is accessible to you whenever you want to rob mind with them, and the old politics of 'no change, no shaking ' those old people that are now coming to mislead you.
It is a choice between the APGA new politics of giving the people a right to recall your representatives when they no longer do your job, and “don’t talk –take money - keep mute” style of these people who places personal greed above their public duty ones they get to Abuja.

APGA has already helped deliver changes that have given more power to people with changes that are more profound than any to politics since the inception of democracy in Nigeria, come to Anambra where we have been able to achieve it and you will not ask me how we have sought and won all party support in the guber election, we are doing more, that is the reason why the people should support us more than those “don’t talk –take money - keep mute”, doing nothing urban guerillas parties.

Next year’s election is a choice between parties who want to make the people more powerful – APGA, and those who talk about change but reject the changes that would genuinely empower people of Nigeria.

Consequently, APGA and Ndi Anambra Cental are inspired to support Chief Sir Victor Umeh in the project of representing our Senatorial zone at the Senate during the 2015-2019 legislative year because we believe in his capabilities and are determined to make that vision of APGA new politics of giving the Igbo people a strong voice in the manifest.

Support APGA by supporting Chief Sir Victor Umeh, he will deliver, that we are sure, APGA must deliver when you send us to represent you.

Thanks
MUOZOBA JOHNBOSCO,
PRO APGA FRONT.
