WHO WILL CHART A COURSE THROUGH THE CHOPPY ECONOMIC WATERS THAT LIE AHEAD IN THE NIGERIAN FUTURE?

Nigeria is such a big country with a great future that we need not retreat into a tight little ball of negativity. Who will Chart a course through the choppy economic waters that lie ahead in the Nigerian future with a steady hand and a clear cut plan for the future?
The time has come for the Nigerian people to decide on our Nation’s future because we are the ones who they in government are elected to serve. If as a nation we fail to manage the situation before us well, it will hurt us more and cause us to not only be out of jobs more with very poor living standards for all Nigerians, and cause us to drift more towards anarchy.
This election will be about who the Nigerian people trust to best lead them through the difficult new security challenges which now lie ahead. New challenges brought about by mistrust of our leaders by the led that have given rise to bloodletting here and there, those new challenges have to be confronted by us through our votes. This election will also be about who the Nigerian people trust to steer our economy through the great economic transition lies ahead.
This election will be about who the Nigerian people best judge to get the balance right. The situations that lie ahead will be difficult – but are definitely do-able. By keeping our economy strong while at the same time, protecting lives and properties, creating jobs, ensuring we have fair wages and fair conditions, continuing to invest in health and education and above all ensuring there’s a fair go for all whether you are a Christian or a Muslim.
The new security challenges facing our country will require new ways of thinking, new ways of acting, and new ways of planning. If we have decided to vote President Goodluck Jonathan as we agreed, it is not going to be taken for granted, let him give us an explicit plan on how to return peace to our nation  before and after his election. Other Candidates that are yet to emerge should also release a blueprint of their own plan so that we compare notes, this is because the youths know that the old politics of the past just won’t work for the future and we cannot face the future by mere political gamble and sentiments.  From North to South, Negative personal politics doesn’t create a single new job; negativity doesn’t build a single new school. The old politics of division between North and South or Muslim and Christians cannot build a single hospital or provide shelter to the homeless wanderers of the nation. Clinging to the past is not going help build a Nigeria of the future.
Nigerians need a new way of dealing with the new challenges we face in the future, and at this election the Nigerian people will decide who they trust best to navigate the way through so that we can have our absolute best shot at maintaining our living standards, and our prosperity and our security. Elections are both about records of those proposing to lead and about their plans for the future of the nation. So, who among those aspiring to lead us will bring innovation to Nigeria? Who will help make and keep our economy strong? Think before you Vote.
Elections are about judgments of our record just as they are about our plans for the future. We need a President that will unlock the potential which lies in each individual member of this great country called Nigeria so that we become the best we possibly can.
The economy must be strong in order for the country to do everything else. For a stronger Nigeria in the future, we must broaden the economic base, diversify our economy not just depend on oil. What happened to Nigerian soil that there are no more Groundnut Pyramids in the North?  What happened to our Cocoa, Cotton and Palm proceeds which were critical for business, for jobs and for managing cost of living pressures for Nigerian families as well? We need a leader who understands how much we need fresh investment in agribusiness because there are rich opportunities for Nigeria in satisfying the new food demands of World.
We are asking you, the Nigerian people, those of who support our demand for a new way of handling the challenges we face in the future to think well before vote anybody as our next leader at all levels, whether as president or as governor or as a Senator, House of Assembly or House of Reps. Ask necessary questions, take necessary actions to bring change to Nigeria.  Whether you support Goodluck Jonathan, Atiku or Buhari of whomever, try to find out what their economic plans for the future of Nigeria are?
We need each and every one of you to volunteer your time, your effort, your enthusiasm and support our drive to keep Nigerian future safe because it is only through the power of you the people that we will prevail in this election. We in APGA are spending time, energy and money to bring out those who are our first eleven as a Senator, House of Reps. and House of Assembly representatives; we are doing that carefully because we need people who can contribute to the type of future we yearn for in Nigeria. We have enormous confidence in the sound judgments of the Nigerian people, it is now time for the Nigerian people to decide what our future will look like, do not waste your chance of joining hands to pull Nigeria up and push her up to where she should be.
Your Vote can do it, Vote wisely.

IMAGINE AN ANAMBRA STATE WITHOUT AN APGA GOVERNMENT!

Ndi Anambra, it is a shared belief in APGA – in the Oganiru Ndi Igbo project – that brings us together. We do what we do as members of this party because of our beliefs. We work for APGA because of our values.
Without this party, without APGA Governments, Anambra State would be a very different state.

Imagine an Anambra State without good hospitals, an Anambra State without a fair system of Market or industrial relations, or an Anambra State not shaped by peoples’ electoral opinion.

Imagine an Anambra State in which education is closed to those unable to afford the cost of Private School fees because public schools are closed down again due to strike by teachers.

Imagine an Anambra State without any policy to tackle crimes and Violence, without plans on how to remove fear from the citizens or without Plans to give the Youths job.

Imagine an Anambra State which could not maintain her roads or tackle erosions.

Imagine an Anambra State that had never where pensioners die without receiving a Kobo or are referred to as Dead woods, or an Anambra State where working people were denied a dignified retirement.

Imagine an Anambra State that will discriminate based on the religion you believe in, Christian, Traditional, Muslim, etc. without APGA Governments, Anambra State would be a state in distress, but Thank God we are enlightened men and Women. We understand that a state that marginalizes is not strong state, that unity is not created by exclusion, that equality is realized through opportunity, and that prosperity must be created in order to be shared; we have no Catholic nor Anglican nor Pentecostal in Anambra State, what we have is Anambra State and united and together we are stronger as a state.

Imagine an Anambra State where the equality of women in every way was not respected.

Ndi Igbo, our party has changed this State called Anambra, and we are still innovating.

But the destructive negativity of the Opposition has set a new benchmark- crisis and disaster; imagine an Anambra State where your Government had not responded decisively to crisis. The opposition to APGA are parties that goes beyond outright opposition to outright destructiveness.
The people who challenges are tough opponents, we are in a tough fight with the riggers in Anambra State. But we must be resilient and we must be resolute never to allow the arsonists take over the state again. Ndi Anambra , so many Anambrarians and so much of what is good for our State depends on our willingness to fight and our determination to win Anambra State for Ndi Igbo, and we must do it.

Our Governor is determined. Our team is determined. We are all determined.

Because we always look to a brighter future for our children, to greater opportunity for all, to an Anambra State that is both fair and strong, we must fight on with more zeal, and be determined to either win or lose our state to hooligans and rascals once more.

Remember our values, those values we share and know that next election is our project, the Save Anambra project, and it is for this purpose that we seek your support.

Keep Supporting APGA.

THIS NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL EMBARRASSMENTS WHICH APC AND PDP LEADERS OFFER NIGERIA MUST BE RESISTED AND BE STOPPED.

When we went around Anambra state a year ago asking you all to vote and support APGA, it was in a mood of optimism and expectation. The months that has passed since March 17 has fully justified that mood and proved that our future as a people is imbedded in APGA policies; are still scared of driving your good cars around for fear of Kidnappers? No, it is a justification of that great mood. We congratulate all those who have contributed to that solid achievement in security sector, particularly the governor for his determination to succeed with us. If ever there was a time, we know when the APGA should be riding high, that time is now; “Ndi Igbo Ndi Ozo” think and choose to be part of the movement to bring about the changes we seek.

We want the APGA faithful to be altogether tougher and more determined force. I want us to be a crusading and campaigning movement, not an academic think-tank.  We recognize the risks that in the course of our journey we may lose some of the passengers to “love for money” and otherwise, don’t mind the risks so long as we arrive at the end of it reasonably intact and ready to achieve our goals. Do not mind some political hitchhikers we picked up, they are the ones alighting so that APGA shall effectively work and deliver for you because our party doctrine carry conviction, courage, principle and foresight in full measure to do so.

Imagine what played out at the National Assembly yesterday. What a grim picture those men present to the rest of the world?  Tired, shoddy and mean-spirited a picture which made all Nigerian issues the uglier because neither the PDP nor the APC opposition hold out any prospect that they can solve our problems, APGA cannot and will never support such rascality and lawlessness in high places. Those Legislators cannot disguise the fact that this set of legislators has proved a total failure to the nation; imagine an honourable member scaling fencing as a common thief!

They first turned their backs on those who elected them, now they have caused the whole nation an unspeakable embarrassment; will they still had the nerve to claim that the people are behind them? They have portrayed themselves as hooligans and must be changed.  Nigerians, if you all do not come to your senses these people who have nothing to offer us would generate another decade of failure and national humiliation after all these years of mismanagement of our common wealth which have destroyed the confidence most of you have in Nigeria. With what played out yesterday, fellow Nigerians, we have arrived at one of the most important stages in the history of the country Nigeria. If you believe that the future of this country largely depends upon the foresight, conviction, courage and devotion to principle of nationhood, then all those legislators must be stopped come next election, do not spare any of them because they are unworthy of representing Nigeria.

Electing APGA Leaders such as Senators and governors in ENUGU, EBONYI, ANAMBRA, IMO, ABIA, RIVERS and DELTA will represent the last and best hope civil and focused leadership in those states and delegate legislators who will not scale fencing to the Nigerian people, achieving this task now depend upon creating a common purpose in which everyone of you out there has a part to play, I am on my own role, please play your part.  If we do not want another set of broken promises followed by the usual search for scapegoats as has been the culture of PDP and APC, support APGA to win in your Senatorial zone.  Our being able to win these states depends upon us defining clearly what it is that we are trying to achieve and enlisting the help of every man and woman in these states in our shared hope for the future. Men such as Otti is in Abia, as Rtd. Captain Iheanacho is in Imo, all working to liberate those states, why stand beside and look? The challenge is daunting. It is a challenge to new leadership and new imagination from both the electorates and aspirants. Instead of criticizing PDP’s failure in Abia, we must contribute by providing Abians an alternative in APGA. Instead of shouting on the sidelines in Imo after Rochas made away with our mandate, we must take over the game by supporting Rtd. Captain Iheanacho and his team in APGA. It is possible, we must do it for Ndi Igbo, Ndi South East and South South, and for Nigerian sake we must do it, Support APGA to end these  National and International Embarrassments that APC and PDP leaders offer you.

A PUSH TOWARDS A NEW NIGERIA, WHAT APGA CAN OFFER .

Politics is not about abstract theories. It is about people and how they want to live their lives. We understand Nigerians more because we are closer to the people and we know how they want it done. We APGA people are not and can never be rubber stamp legislators who approve issues without the people’s consent. We will hold the government to account on the issues that matter to the people. Dear Nigerians, Ndi Igbo Ibem, if you want to hold the government to account on all the issues that concerns your future, then you need to back the party that is concerned about those issues. That’s us, the APGA. The people who come up with practical alternatives in making the laws for a new Nigeria. We will speak for civil liberties, we will tackle the big issues head on, and we will speak for real freedom in Nigeria.
APGA legislators will be a voice for the voiceless and speak on the issues that the others dare not touch; speaking for pensioners, speaking for overburdened doctors, nurses and teachers, and speaking for all those concerned about the environment, the voiceless will have a strong voice in the next legislative years if you give us your support.
For both PDP and APC legislative candidates alike, this campaign is about what they can’t do, what they won’t do, yet the make noise and say they will do this and that for our future. Their campaign is about inspiring fear of the other, not confidence in self. They won’t invest more energy to protect public services; they can’t afford to talk of better pensions or free student tuition in the Senate. They won’t take action on climate change and pollution that have turned our once rich beautiful mangrove forest in Ogoni land into a disaster and death site due to Oil drilling services by expatriate oil companies. No, their concern is not on any of those issues that bother APGA Senator designates, their concern is their pocket. But you know that their pocket is not the issue.
The issue for the next year’s senatorial election is the renewal of Nigerian nation—of family life, of economic institutions, of the right of choice, of Nigerian society itself. We have the vision, the ability, and the strength to take Nigeria through the next decade and into the next century. Nigerian’s problems are too complex to be solved overnight, but with the kind of determination and courage that APGA legislators are equipped with, they can be solved because our government is a sincere government that remembers ‘the forgotten people’, and the legislators we send to Abuja must surely fight for the forgotten people of Nigeria, offer hope to our children if only we believe in ourselves.
We have a vision of Nigeria in which we shape events, not suffer them. In which we offer solutions, not problems. A country we can be proud of. We offer our commitment and our energy in the cause of Nigerian renewal. We offer faith and conviction. We offer the hope of a better future for Nigerians and their children. In this election we are offering the answers for the new Nigeria. The answer is in the legislators we send to Abuja, listen to them.
We can have a peaceful Nigeria. We must have a prosperous Nigeria. We will have a new Nigeria through the positive voice of APGA legislators we are delegating to help make the laws for the new Nigeria of our hope. Support us Ndi Igbo; Vote us again Ndi Anambra so that Nigeria will hear it the way we want it done for the people.
Support our party; support our candidates so that we all shall join in rewriting of Nigerian history. Vote Chief (Sir) Victor Umeh for Senate, Anambra Central Senatorial Zone.
Thanks.

Ndi Igbo should support APGA.

Ndi Igbo should support politicians say what they mean and do what they say.
Ndi Igbo should support policies which work and which don’t trifle with our country’s future.
Ndi Igbo should support a genial pragmatic political creed based above all on respect for the people.
Ndi Igbo should support parties that are ready to restore some sense of honour and integrity to public life.
Ndi Igbo should support a party that must do everything they can to secure your future.
Ndi Igbo should support APGA in South East, which is the only platform that offers the issues in the foregoing.
Ndi Igbo should not support a party that react only to poll rather than respond to the people concerns.
Ndi Igbo should not support a party that does anything to win election.

NIGERIA NEEDS MORE THAN A RASH OF ELECTION PROMISES AS THE OPPOSITION PARTY OFFERS!

Economic hardship and social alienation that are major issues in Nigeria now, are not found only among our uneducated, nonskilled and jobless Igbo youths, and uneducated almajiri in the North, and our tens of thousands of young people who can't get jobs after NYSC. They strike into the homes of more than two million of our fellow Nigerians who live in poverty and have gained momentum during the last twenty five years. All come together now to pose great security challenges to which all of us as a nation must respond together.

APGA don't pretend there are easy solutions to these challenges, no there are not. We don't suggest that a rash of election promises is all that's needed to meet these cha11enges, no they won't.

And I do not claim that our Government can produce some magic formula overnight to correct all the mistakes of the past 30 years,  relieve all the hardships, and remove all the disunity created in Nigeria since 1914, no, we can't.

Rather what APGA do offer, what we can promise is a more equal, a fairer, and a better Nigerian society than all of us have known in the last fifty five years.
Our country Nigeria has tremendous potential. Its development of our industries and our great mineral resources suggests there is nothing we can't achieve in the years ahead if we put in the right government.

What we have to ensure is the economic security of Nigerian families just as much as the physical security of our nation under responsible national leadership administering fair and sensible national policies.

The important thing, the urgent thing, is to deal not only with our specific problems like Boko Haram, but to restore a sense of unity, purpose and direction for the entire country.

SUPPORT AN IGBO MAN WITH SUPER SENSE OF HONESTY TO ETHICALLY REPRESENT US IN THAT SENATE

Chief Sir Victor Umeh promise to always put the interests of Anambra Central Senatorial Zone and all Nigerians above any personal or political interests. He advocates for the things he believe, and he always try to listen and keep an open mind. The People of Anambra state and Igboland will be the special interest group Umeh will respond to if elected a Senator.  His stance on issue will be about the people and especially about promulgation of laws that will be good for our children and grandchildren in the new Nigeria project.

Umeh has pragmatic solutions for dealing with issues that concerns the people, healthcare proposal, plans to encourage employment, plans on education reform and ideas to keep the economy healthy, but he assured that he will be discussing  with stakeholders all of this through the course of this campaign to collate their own opinion on issues that affect us all.

Umeh will tell you the complete truth as it happens in the Senate, he will change positions on issues to try to please various factions and strange partisan interests. The fact that he is bold enough to tell the people things, realities and truths that many people won’t want to hear, qualifies him to represent us at the Senate because at a time like this we need to elect a representative will work very hard day by day with a higher sense of honesty to ethically represent us in that Senate chamber.

We urge you all to vote APGA for an opportunity to begin to again fulfill all the great potentials of Nigeria which are wasting as a result of poor laws and harsh regulations. The time is right for victory of APGA in Anambra Central Senatorial zone; it is time to break the jinx that held APGA down from winning Anambra Central Senatorial zone, we urge you all to be leaders in this advocacy, and we ask that you join with us in any way you can to make this history happen.

PRO APGA FRONT

A VOTE FOR THE APGA PARTY IS A VOTE FOR AN EXCITING AND REWARDING FUTURE FOR ANAMBRA.

Ndi Anambra, the new APGA initiative that is anchored on the four pillars of development are a creative, responsible and balanced programme that is designed to give you the best and not regrets. Most of you who are party men and women joined this Party APGA in 2002 through conviction, because of what you believed it would do for our state. I respect most of you who have not wavered in that conviction despite some challenges. You have put your trust in APGA and we have vow to you that we shall repay that trust with unstinting service and dedication to our Party and our state; we shall not rest until once again, the destinies of our people and our Party are joined together again, in victory at the next General Election.

Our state is on the move. You all are aware that since coming to office on March 17 this year, the APGA government have faced the difficult choices and have made tough decisions while doing the job we were elected to do. Now the great issue before every one of us is whether we will build on these hard won foundations, whether we will grasp the opportunity to make Anambra the great State we all know it can be, or destroy it because of interest of few individuals who want to use the state in boosting their mercantile deals with Abuja cabals.

“Ndi be anyi”, we are ready to stride into a new era of prosperity and development. We have broken through in the fight against Kidnapping. Under the immediate past government, kidnapping for ransom reached 95% percent of all the crimes that take place in our state. We have tackled that, Kidnapping for ransom is now greatly checked. Business is being revitalized again in Anambra because we've been doing the job we were elected to do.

We know that joblessness is still a problem here, but we are determined that our children will have job skills – skills that the education system often fails to teach.

We will expand the education programme for unemployed youth which gives young people the chance to acquire the basic skills and motivation they need to get a job.

Private enterprise is the source of most of Anambra’s jobs and the improvement in the security situation has greatly encouraged private business more in Anambra. We will take further steps to assist business so that new jobs can be created for Ndi Anambra, it is practical, not magic and stories.
Our people, there are still problems to be faced, there is still hard work to be done. But APGA in Anambra under Willie Obiano is ready to make the breakthrough into a new period of real prosperity that has accompanied good security network in the state. With your support this Government is determined to build on what we have already achieved to make Anambra a society which can set a standard for Nigeria. A vote for the APGA Party is a vote for an exciting and rewarding future for Anambra.

In the next year’s election, our party’s interest is in Senate, House of Reps and House of Assembly; for presidency, vote President Goodluck as we agreed. But for other elections, vote APGA because it is only APGA Senators and House of Representative members that will protect our individual rights as Ndi Igbo and work to reform outdated Nigerian laws that are not in our interest. An APGA legislator shall fight for interest of Ndi Igbo without taking excuse from Tinubu or Alhaji Katagum or PDP cabals.

Ndi Anambra, above all else, next year’s election will decide whether we will build on the achievements of this APGA government and expand our visions and hope as a people, or whether we will let PDP throw it all away. PDP is committed to reversing the APGA achievements that have given Anambra people confidence and return you to dark days of don’t talk politics in Anambra. PDP is the Party of extravagance, of high insecurity, of political lawlessness. It is PDP that is the Party of no solution to Unemployment, otherwise ask those PDP Senators to show you a proactive legislative plan to tackle joblessness in Nigeria. There has rarely been an election giving the Anambra people a clearer choice than next election when you all shall elect leaders who will support your Governor both at Abuja and in Awka legislative chambers. The PDP are luring you to abandon APGA that save Anambra from hands arsonists and no-conscience politicians that can close down your schools and be throwing parties, so that when you make that mistake they will compel your governor to defect and join them in PDP where they will have the opportunity of sharing your allocations at Abuja. Do not make mistake, keep voting APGA the party and chance to make common men voices to be heard. I have no doubt at all that the working men and women of Anambra will reject this recipe for disaster because nobody will dream of staying two months without salaries again.

Finally Ndi Anambra, remember that the task before us is to restore legislation as an instrument for progress and reform. The task before us is to unite Nigeria and the Nigerian people. The task before us is to end rule by division, by confrontation; the setting of class against class, section against section, region against region, religion by religion; to end the rule of the great dividers, vote APGA legislators to help heal Nigerian wounds by supporting the adoption of the resolution of the national confab. Do not vote legislators who have broken promise after promise to the Anambra people, people breaking up their own party must not be allowed to break up our nation.
