NDI APGA NOW THAT OUR PRIMARIES ARE OVER, IT IS TIME TO PUT THE STATE BEFORE THE PARTY, LET US JOIN HANDS AND ENSURE THAT APGA WINS.

Our dear party men and women, the strength of APGA as a party is as always shown most clearly through the difficulties it can overcome, this primaries was a difficult one because we parades so many qualified and determined candidates. It is very important that we all take note that, “Partisan feelings must yield to patriotism in all arguments and contests”; to this end, my dear Ndi APGA, if we love APGA as a party, if we are real APGA men, we must embrace our colleagues who fly the party flag and work for our party’s success. We have taken note of your dogged fights and firm determination to succeed, you have paid your dues, and in true spirit of APGA “Onye Aghana Nwanne Ya”, let the victor and the vanquished accepted the outcome of our primaries peacefully. In the spirit of reconciliation, we have to meet soon and talk heart to heart, heal any existing wound and move to a greater height, just as we fought hard in the primaries, let us close ranks and come together now that the contest is done is the time to recognize that that which unites us is greater than that which divides us.

Ndi APGA, it is the time to recognize that that which unites us is greater than that which divides us. We in APGA FRONT have proposed to meet with all the aspirants that won the Primaries and those have paid their dues to the party and in service of Anambra state but did not emerge our party’s candidate in the just concluded primaries, we shall do this as soon as possible so that we can start to heal the divisions of the campaign and the contest through which we just passed, and reintegrate our party men who were in the various campaign organizations of those who could not make it to fly our party’s flag.

We urge you all to accept your responsibility, which you will discharge unconditionally for the party and the state, to honor the party and those candidates elect and do everything possible to help them bring APGA and Anambra people together in fulfillment of the great vision that our party defines and that which our government affirms and defends. There is a higher duty than the one we owe to our political party, defense of Anambra state’s future, we put state before party. We will stand together behind our dear governor Willie Obiano in APGA and accord him all the support he needs to succeed.

We are very grateful to all those who supported you all and the party, those who supported the cause for which we have fought one another at the party primaries, a noble vision no doubt. We feel a deep gratitude to all of you who brought passion and high purpose to our party once again to show that APGA is still waxing strong, those who have opened new political doors for APGA, not just for our campaign but for our State, we say thank you all. This primary have once again reaffirmed and reminded us that APGA is still more formidable than ever, and that we are still one people with a shared history and a shared destiny.

In that same spirit, we say our brothers and sisters who did not get our party’s ticket, we know that many of your supporters are disappointed, and you too are. But our disappointment must be overcome by our love for Anambra state and determination to defend and entrench APGA more in our land. We say to all the APGA Candidates that what remains of partisan rancor must now be put aside, let all avenues towards working together with our brothers that did not get the ticket be created if it has not been done because we must go to this fight together, may God bless you all and your stewardship of our party and state as you do this. Now that the primaries have ended, resolved, as it must be resolved, through the honored institutions of our party democracy, we expect a true spirit of sportsmanship to come into play, and to those who did not make it, we have good plans for you all.
To the supporters of those that did not get the party’s ticket, we know that you regret that your first choice candidates didn't get the chance to stay and fight for the people of your constituencies and for Anambra in the house of Assembly, House of Reps and Senate over the next four years; we know that you regret that your first choice candidates didn't get the chance to stay and fight for the people, especially for those who need burdens lifted and barriers removed, especially for those who feel their voices have not been heard. We heard you and we will not forget to keep on making sure that those who have won the party’s ticket stay on course after they were elected to represent you all, we must do the watch dog work for the people. To this end we say, “No matter how hard the loss, defeat might serve as well as victory to shape the soul and let the glory out”.

Now the intra party political struggle is over, let us focus on winning the general election, let us turn again to the unending struggle for the common good of all Anambra citizens by supporting Chief sir Willie Obiano to win 30/30 House of Assembly Seats, 11/11 House of Reps Seats and 3/3 Senatorial seats in Anambra state because this is the only thing that will stop the Anambra PDP hawks from hijacking your Governor; they are boasting that they will force Governor Willie Obiano into PDP, but the only thing that will stop them from hijacking the government of Anambra state and reversing your story to “Zero-Allocation”, story like in the days of Mbadinuju led PDP administration, is to keep rejecting PDP in Anambra governmental affairs and voting APGA en mass always.

“Ndi Igbo Nke Anyi Bu Nke Anyi!”
