Fellow Nigerians, we have 50 days
left to use our votes again to seek a better future. It is no ordinary
election. It comes at a time when turbulence and tension exist in our country.
Next year’s election is an election that calls for strength in the voice of
Nigerians to tell ourselves the truth about our nation, our states, senatorial
zones, constituencies and local government. This is the only I call on our
people to focus of what happens here in our state and ensure that those we call
leaders are the people that are all out to fight for our cause without
compromise.
Campaigning in this election is no
picnic. We must go into this campaign taking nothing for granted, every single
day has to be a good day for vote canvassing, no room for merriments, and no
chance for error. It will be a long and hard 50 day campaign – a long campaign
designed to wear us down but which will surely break the opposition. It needs a
huge team effort. This is an election about responsibility, about the security
that only responsibility can bring.
Anambra State can’t afford the
turmoil and insecurity of the opposition. Our state needs the secure program
which the Government offers which will build Anambra by helping people and
widening opportunities. Anambra must have a legislative government that will
support our prudent managers of our state with stability, and a vision of the
future, not the spend, spend philosophy of wolves in opposition parties. No one
wants a return to the chaos and insecurity of the PDP years here.
We thank our people who are playing
a big role in this campaign and whom we rely on heavily through the long hours
of sleep deprivation and stress, to propagate our messages in the towns and
villages of Anambra State.
Compliment of the season.
