In the 2003 general election, twelve years ago, the APGA Party changed the face of Nigerian politics. For the first time, Anambra people and Nigerians were introduced to the APGA Party's way of doing politics. Defying expectations, we fielded a full slate of candidates and made certain that every Nigerian had an opportunity to cast a vote for social progress and governmental accountability. And a record number of Anambrarians, almost 500,000, joined with us in that vision.
Unlike other political parties, APGA is uniquely placed to defend the Anambra that we cherish, an Anambra that is built on compassion, integrity and accountability. The APGA Party can restore Anambra values of fairness, equality and justice needed to bridge the growing gap between government and citizens, and between businesses and the communities in which they operate. And only the APGA Party will protect our heritage as the foundation of a healthy and organized Anambra society.

Our social programs focus on comprehensive approaches and equal access for all Nigerians, not just for Ndi Anambra. Our fiscal plan seeks to achieve better results in a prudent and balanced manner to ensure our people’s sufferings are alleviated. Part of our proposed national policies focus on peace and fair trade among Nigerians and foreigners.
