NDI IGBO: IT IS TIME TO STOP THE TRAITORS IN OUR MIDST.

Ndi Igbo the battle for political liberation of our land is what confronts us all at the next month’s election, and the battle will be fought on many fronts.  Let us make no mistake. The Igbo land is under threat - from within and without, that threat is the APC invasion of Igbo Land.  As we campaign across Igbo land, let every effort be made to ensure that APC people do not confuse Igbo electorates because of the traitors who hide in that party. We know them; they are the dirtiest fighters in the history of Nigerian modern opposition politics, and we hereby give notice that we will fight APC at this election every inch of the way. Ana Igbo is now a battleground of ideas and issues as we campaign on, let our people listen to the voice of the real Igbo people who will offer only what we can deliver for Ndi Igbo and not the make- believe tales from APC traitors. It is not funny, Okorocha nicknamed General Mahamadu Buhari to Okechukwu Buhari with so many tales of falsehood.

These traitors make an art form of sanctimony, but their politics are always in the gutter. They will jettison their election promises faster than a sailor bails out a sinking boat, check Rochas record for Imo state and you will understand them better. Umu Igbo ibe, no amount of yapping and snapping will turn their stories into anything else here; brace up to fight them now. Let Ndi Igbo unite and politically fight the APC wherever we find them, and show them up for the opportunist sham they are to Ndi Igbo. We will beat them across the Igbo land, and ensure they do not divert us from our most important target – Political Liberation of Igbo land.

Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, Ogbonnaya Onu of Ebonyi, and Senator Chris Ngige are our brothers that derailed from the target of Ndi Igbo and are the traitors we should all stop anywhere they are. What these APC men do in leadership is a fanatical exercise in demagoguery. They have a way of not allowing truth get in the way by their careful dramatic and political theatrical performance. They specialize in saying one thing, doing another, vilifying anyone who has had the temerity to question or challenge them; strutting, ranting, hand-waving, heart-bleeding, sound-byting, sick-making, an unmitigated hour of puffed up posturing. These men govern in a virtual world where difficulties and failures can simply be overcome by changing the picture or the words to fit the presentational needs of the moment. The reality doesn't matter to them.  To them it is all about image. They are tring to turn Igbo land into their own fantasy land where Promise and Image are everything and Reality counts for nothing.

Rochas, Onu, Ngige and their cohorts are misleading Ndi Igbo with their APC tales and we must tell them with our votes to sit down and face the reality in Nigeria of today. When reality does manage against the odds to intrude in their tales, the goal posts are moved, the figures are fudged, and the lies are told to confuse those who are not aware of their game. Check out the story on the deported Ndi Igbo from Lagos. What did they do? They lied and termed their folks, who needed their intervention and rescue then, destitute. Is that fair? These APC traitors in Igbo land may live in their own fantasy land, but Igbo People here must have to live with the realities of Igbo issues as regards to the Nigerian nation. The generality of the people know the truth and they feel betrayed. Is it not time for these traitors got real and feel the pulse of their people? They will not do that instead they now promise us a great change via APC political crusade to destroy the fabrics of Igbo land further.

We the youths and people of New Igbo nation is using this medium to give these traitors some advice, “you can't create an attitude of change from your slave masters by a mere political spin, you cannot lead a moral crusade without a moral base to lead from, you cannot save us by teaming up with our oppressors. You cannot deliver our people through government of a people that regard Ndi Igbo as conquered people in their own conduct with such total disdain. You cannot create a partnership for change with Ndi Igbo when you are constantly misleading that same People as to what is really going on in Nigeria. You can't fool all of the people all of the time. Igbo people at last are beginning to rumble you all who took the people in and have taken them for granted; you people have let Ndi Igbo down, but not for much longer, we are awake, never to fall asleep again.

We will take the fight to Imo state and dislodge Rochas Okorocha and his cronies at every opportunity and in every forum until they stand exposed for the cynical, unprincipled and unscrupulous phonies they are.  Ndi Igbo have begun to explore all the battlegrounds which lay ahead, we know the policies we will bring to those battlegrounds, and it is the values we stand for- APGA policies. Ndi Igbo must rekindle that spirit of the Igbo unionism, which fired our party in the past and can do so again. We must restore our pride in our history as Ndi Igbo. We must fight those forces that would even now break up as a people economically and politically. How can Ndi Igbo support such hypocrites? How can our people keep criminal silence and allow our oppressors to use these traitors among us to cause political confusion here? This election is our battle for the political liberation of Ndi Igbo and we must win it by ensuring that APGA wins the next election everywhere in Anambra state, and ensuring that the governors of Imo State and Abia state are elected on APGA platform. The real battle is about the survival of the Ndi Igbo as we know it, we must win that battle for Ndi Igbo; the next election is the fight to save our future by electing true Igbo sons and daughters to speak for us in every government sphere, whether as executives or as legislators.

By Voting APGA again, we will demonstrate that we now still have the dogged Ojukwu philosophy, the new Igbo land advancement policies and the new vision for the Igbo people of this millennium. Political tales from these APC traitors must not blind us to the need to keep our vision clear and our message simple and in tune with the deepest instincts of the Igbo people. Those Messages and Vision of Odumegwu Ojukwu cannot be set aside because of the falsehoods of APC traitors, nor will we be, not now, not in the future.  The entire Igbo People need to get to know more about the messages of APGA Party again, Ndi Igbo need to know what we are like and what we stand for, and we must tell them so that these traitors do not mislead them.

Let this writing be our clarion call to Ndi Igbo and our party members throughout the Igbo land, it is a call to have more faith in ourselves, to have stronger confidence in that Ojukwu’s vision, and to have greater courage in our hearts; let us go out with one message engraved upon our minds, that when this campaign is done and we win landslide, the traitors in our midst will be shut up forever.
APGA will win, Ndi Igbo will win when we ensure we win families and polling stations; our winning will show these people that we are still united, that we are more determined, and that our clear vision for Ndi Igbo is still a vision for our joint progress. And that that vision will be of Igbo land where it is people and not systems which matter to us, where the truth is more important than the image as APC traitors are making the gullible among us think; and where there is room once again for the spirit and the songs and the dreams which can raise our eyes to the horizons of the human soul, and which can make us great again. Our winning shall strengthen our resolve to protect Ndi Igbo from lawlessness in our land because we have genuine respect for the rule of law, and for those who do what is right.

We should use our votes to say NO to those who have sympathy for lawlessness. If your kinsman or woman had been maimed or killed by those charlatans, Boko Haram, whom they emboldened by the utterances of APC leaders, particularly those words of Arewa Consultative Forum(ACF) REF: http://www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/81954/23/aiy-condemns-acf-over-statement.html,  then you have to ensure that “NO VOTES” get to the groomers of Lawlessness and Anarchy in our country.

Thank you all for heading this call and rejecting APC and their agents here on Igbo Land.

UMU ANAMBRA: LET US REMIND PDP AND APC OF THEIR SINS TO US AS WE GO TO POLL NEXT MONTH.

Umu Igbo, Ndi Anambra, victories may be planned at the centre. But they are won in the constituencies, on the ground, in the streets, on the doorsteps.  Our victories in this election will be won by all of you, by your sheer hard work during these campaigns.  But they will also be won by your glorious and stubborn loyalty to this party in the darkest days after severe partisan challenges occasioned by betrayals by some of us whom we thought believed in our cause as a people.  You all never gave up hope. You saw in our challenges the seeds of our revival and you went for it. You are the real heroes of our party.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts because we know that with your help we can fulfill our aim as members of the great Party of Ikemba,  and that is to win the next election land slide in Anambra, win Abia and Imo and shut  doubting folks up.  And we know that with you we can, and we will win again.

As we go to polls next month, Let us remind the opposition what APGA in this state achieved.
Let's remind them of the defeat of the evils of their Rigging machines here, Let us tell APC that we have not forgotten the DEPORTATION issue, Let us tell PDP that do not want CRISIS hear now that we have finish rebuilding all the structures they vandalized and burnt down.
Let's remind them of the growth of Peace, freedom and prosperity in Anambra.
Let's remind them of the rolling back of the tide of kidnapping which threatened to throttle our State and bring it to its knees we allow them to taste power here.  That secured Anambra is the true and proud record of APGA which the PDP and APC demagogic rhetoric and rewriting of history can never destroy in the memory of our people.  Our best answer to Anambra PDP and APC must be to make sure that the next election is won by APGA everywhere as well; we have the genuine smell of victory in our nostrils already. Anambra gubernatorial election is where PDP threw everything at us but we prevailed. You reminded us what it is like to win election with your votes.
Next month elections are where we shall re-establish our claim to be the natural party of Ndi Anambra again.
We congratulate you all.
PRO APGA FRONT
HON MUOZOBA JOHNBOSCO

ONYE IGBO : THINK, LOOK, & LISTEN, BEFORE YOU USE YOUR VOTE TO DESTROY YOUR FUTURE.

I say today - on the evidence of achievements of APGA in Anambra State alone - to anyone who is still cynical or unsure about us, to anyone who doubts our collective capacity to respond with swiftness and responsibility to the yearnings of our people, to anyone who dismisses what has long-since become our permanent role in Igbo politics, as those self centered mercantile Anambra PDP politicos woo you to Vote in CRISIS into Anambra State by surrounding our government with hostile legislators, before you make that mistake of voting PDP or APC legislator at any level, think, look and listen again before you use that Vote in your hand to invite CRISIS into our state again.
Before you Vote, think, look and listen again to determine the kind of people (APGA) we are; to what we have to say; reflect upon our principles, our priorities, and our policies. Consider our relevance, note our willingness to state a case in the court of public opinion - and then to defend it in united and articulate fashion as a party.  Ndi Igbo, remember that silence is much more ominous than too much noise in a parliamentary democracy. Let us send Senators that will engage the rest that were sent from all over Nigeria. We sent Senator Dr Chris Ngige, his first experience was when he was denied the office of the Minority leader by his ACN party; that was the major and I think the only time I ever saw Ngige speak boldly in that Senate Chamber, Tinubu and Co silenced him and all that he has in him. Imagine, just by a letter from Tinubu, Ngige was denied a Minority Leader. What will happen if a serious issue that concerns Ndigbo is raised on the floor of the Senate, like say, Reparation for damages and loss as a result of the Civil war, will APC or PDP Senator have the got to defend it without the permission of their slave masters from the West and North? Onye Igbo THINK, LOOK, & LISTEN before you use your Vote to destroy your future.

Our brothers and sisters sat in the chamber of the House of Representative; some were even Chairmen of committee; just like Hon. Mrs Uche Ekwunife who is the Chairman House Committee on Environment, yet Ifiteani People of Agulu will soon be sacked by Erosion next rainy season. They kept criminal silence about our issues, yet they want us to vote them again? Think. I listened with great care and attention to a detailed and lengthy statement from the Deputy Speaker of the Senate, our own brother, when he said that creation of a state for South East is an impossibility, and I knew he was acting PDP scripts, is that the kind of Senator we Ndi Igbo want again? NO.

I listened to the leaders of the opposition party in the Senate and House of Reps as issues that concern Ndi Igbo were being discussed, and I always hear the sound. And the sound I heard? The sound of legislative silence, no reliable voice for Ndi Igbo to say NO, ENOUGH! And we can’t keep sending voiceless legislators and cowards to represent Ndi Igbo at the legislative halls anywhere in Nigeria, never again shall we send “SOBENUFA” to represent Ndi Igbo, APGA has selected fearless and determined men and women to give Ndi Igbo a Voice in the next legislative years, do not make mistakes, LISTEN to the voice of REASON, Vote APGA.

If one of the predominant people of Nigerian power equation throughout most of the twentieth century finds itself reduced to brief banalities on one of the defining issues of today Nigerian Politics because we send voiceless representatives to the center to speak for us, then I say that's a people which is rendering itself redundant and irrelevant in the body politic of our country; it is for this APGA was born, according to Ojukwu APGA is a platform to liberate Ndi Igbo from shackle of political oppression and emancipate ourselves from the third citizenship that we were relegated to after the civil war. THINK ALOUD and VOTE APGA again!

VICTOR UMEH A SENATOR NDIGBO MUST ENDEVOUR TO HAVE

Indeed time is now at hand. Ndigbo must ones again be reminded of doing the needful. The primary elections of all parties are over with exception to that of Anambra PDP that shall and always be resolved in the court of law. But before this time, that is the election proper, Ndigbo needs to be reminded of the hard fact that 2015 is a very crucial year for Igbo survival. It is of necessity to inform Ndigbo that owing to the precarious nature of things especially as concerns the politics of Nigeria, we do not for any reason need to dare gamble with the forthcoming election especially as regards electing candidates, particularly, candidates of bold conscience.
Across Igboland, if one is sincere to himself, if one looks into the menu of the past renowned Igbo politicians, only one man, apart from the older generations, is a resonance of the attributes of the past dedicated leaders of Igboland. I wouldn’t say in the common parlance of “the last man standing” because I learnt and I do know that from “age to age Divinity gathers men for himself so that from east to west even a perfect offering may be made”. So, greatness and great men must continue to be as long as the earth stays. But, what is of great importance is the collective interest of Ndigbo, the crucial moment that is the period we found ourselves in Nigeria, and sending bold and courageous representatives to the Upper Chamber knowing full well that Nigeria as it is currently constituted, only fearless, courageous Igbo politicians can survive the present tide.
Recently, in the concluded National confab that has just passed, though not by election, Igbo men and women were selected and sent to represent their folks. Among the things that generated heated debate was the five percent oil revenue to North East as a result of the believed wanton destructions by the terrorists. All the South East representatives were fully present when the North befuddled the rest of the country into adopting the five percent oil revenue for the reconstruction of the devastated infrastructures by the Boko Haram not minding that after more than forty years of Nigeria/Biafra civil war the Nigerian Government have not found it a sine qua non to rebuild the East where over two million persons lost their lives to the bloodiest war in the history of black Africa. Surprisingly, when some Igbo representatives were confronted over the implication of abdicating five percent of our oil revenue for a reason in which there is no justice and fairness, our fickle representatives were rather irked by that attempt to call them to inner reflection. Ndigbo kept quiet again until a late comer to the conference who on arrival perhaps because of being at home with what the predicament of Ndigbo is on the one hand, and having gone through the tutelage of Igbo legends of both dead and alive on the other hand, effortlessly discovered the blatant injustice in given five percent of our oil revenue to a part of the country that has continued to murder Ndigbo with the attendant destructions of their means of livelihood. We are in full knowledge that many of our brother representatives refused to botch the bill from going to plenary session for as for them this matter has been debated and adopted by the committee and any further intervention is stupid. Chief Umeh stood his ground at the plenary and shouted to the high heaven over the injustice that would have almost been passed as a law in the whole Republic supposing the Confab recommendations were adopted as working document. Being a man of bigger spirit, he got the enemies of the people to concur on his protest and at the end the five percent oil revenue was given to all the parts of the Federal Republic.
Still on the National confab, our brothers were all seated when one of the Northern representatives deployed a demeaning language reinstating that Ndigbo is not part of Nigeria. None discovered that when you refer to a thing as so-called or a people as so-called that what you are saying is that in the real sense that thing does not exist. And the Northern representative unabashedly qualified Ndigbo as so-called South East zone and for all our representatives seated, this is not a wrong doing. This is because in the real sense of it they are not true Igbo or if Igbo, are not qualified to be there to represent their people as their quietude in the face of such demeaning of a people they are representing indicates that they are not abreast with the laws, customs and struggles of the land they claim to hail from. Succour came again from Umeh who brought retired General Ike Nwachukwu to register the protest and the northern representative was brought to recant his statement and apologize to Ndigbo.
Putting the confab aside, Ndigbo in trying time as this need predictable characters as their representatives. The case of our brothers backing out from struggles that will benefit our common goal is not news. And we see that more often than not the reasons are flimsy and this points to the fact that the people in question ab-initio are not abreast with the customs, laws and the struggles of Ndigbo but are people who due to the confusion of things found themselves in the corridors of power. The case of Chief Peter Obi the former governor of Anambra state defecting to PDP five months after he had deployed the same system for eight years to govern the state is an eloquent instance of a man who doesn’t know what and who is Ndigbo in the first instance.
Even though APGA is not an Igbo party, Igbos have much domination in APGA. What it means is that after all said and done the only political platform Igbos can through it express their political interest is APGA. APC and PDP in all their sagacity have excluded Ndigbo from either the presidential ticket or vice presidential slot. So ensuring the survival of APGA and her spread becomes, I believe, the collective responsibility of every Igbo man knowing full well that APGA is the only city of refuge for Ndigbo and that APGA’s support of Jonathan is pure temporal business with a definite date of expiration knowing full well that Jonathan’s tenure if elected in the forthcoming election expires by 2019 such that if APGA is not built and prepared for 2019 elections Igbos by then may have been absolutely relegated to political dungeon of irrelevance.
If all that I have said cannot be established to be untrue, it now becomes necessary to say that it appears very strong, I suppose, that considering the trend of things that Chief Sir Victor Umeh’s political ambition in this time coincides with the political future of Ndigbo, that is, considering the hard fact that Ndigbo is in dire need of a robust representation on the one hand, of which considering the candidates in Anambra central senatorial zone (where Victor hail from) we know that among them Victor Umeh has exuded more energy, boldness, courage, consistency as regards Igbo struggle. On the other hand, considering that Ndigbo cannot actualize Igbo political destiny without establishing a hegemony on a political platform considering that they have been sidelined in the other political platforms, it therefore becomes important and urgent to put to the mind of Ndigbo that they should be in the know that the failure of a man who have exuded much strength in sustaining that platform, of whom now could be seen as the arrowhead of the APGA struggle, whose political destiny coincides with the Igbo political destiny will be very disastrous. What it means is that the failure of Chief Umeh to clinch the senate seat may mark the death of that system we can say from all I have said as the only residual means of salvaging the battered Igbo political destiny.
What it means is that Chief Umeh represents the face of the new Igbo political struggle and that his victory is a victory for all APGA and Ndigbo. Victor’s senate from his antecedents is not just Anambra central Senatorial thing, rather Victor’s senate is Igbo’s senate because Victor from his antecedent, as we have duly established, shall give leadership to all Igbo senator’s if not all other senators. What it means further is that Victor’s senate is a senate Ndigbo must rally round to secure for just as in one time or the other in the evolution of people and nations one man’s destiny may be tied with the destiny of others. Ndigbo must be desperate about this!

NDI ANAMBRA: A “PHARO” THAT DOES NOT KNOW “JOSEPH” AWAITS US IF WE VOTE WRONGLY .

My fellow APGA party men and women, my fellow Anambra citizens, I have come here today not to argue as a politician but to affirm a cause. Today we take the unusual step of carrying the cause and the commitment of our campaign personally to our people, Ndi Anambra in this vote-harvesting time, we are asking you all, we ask you, nwafo -Anambra to renew our commitment to the Party and to our state by voting right. Our cause has been, since the days of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the cause of the common man and the common woman. Our commitment has been, since the days of Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, to all the traders, the fishermen, the farmers, mechanics, and laborers. On this foundation we have defined our values, refined our policies and refreshed our faith as political party that was handed down by our heroes past. We are the party. We have always been the party of hope. Therefore, our people let us offer new hope, new hope to Nigerians uncertain about the present, but unsurpassed in its potential for the future. As we tour and campaign, we have found that faith of our people is still alive wherever we have traveled across this land; we speak out of a deep belief in the ideals of the APGA Party, and in the potential of that Party and of our leaders to make a difference.
Ndi APGA, though there were be setbacks and sacrifices in the years past, fortune lies ahead in wait for us; circumstances may change, but the work of compassion must continue. It is surely correct that we cannot solve problems by throwing money at them, but it is also correct that we dare not throw out our state’s problems onto a scrap heap of inattention and indifference, that is why we keep reminding everybody that running away to another party is to feel less concern about the situation of our state and her people. Running into PDP and seeking to lead or represent Ndi Anambra from such party is wrong because our governor is APGA, and it is only when the Senators and House of Reps members representing Anambra in Abuja are of APGA extraction that they can join force to fight the Anambra cause anywhere. If you doubt this, ask Senator Ngige how many times he had met with the past or present governors of Anambra state since he became a Senator, to find out what Anambra cause that requires his attention at Abuja; he’d rather go to Lagos to defend the deportation of Igbo people. Ask Senator Chris Ngige to tell us the reason why he offered employment to 8 Youruba persons out of 50 persons he published in his stewardship booklet shared at Abagana while on THANK YOU TOUR, he will tell you he gave some slots to his party and they offered the job to their kith and kin. Ask Senator Ngige why he was denied the seat of MINORITY leader when he got to the Senate, he will tell you that the party hierarchy wrote from Lagos and preferred the Benue man. Is it PDP wahala we shall talk about? Just look at the way the embarrassed the Igbo nation by their inability to agree on one Chairman to the extent that an Alhaji became the Anambra State PDP caretaker chairman; check how they humiliated Dr. Alex Ekwueme who is the founder of PDP; and you will know that APGA is the party to support and vote in here in Anambra state. Here in Anambra state, we know what we want. The commitment we seek is not to outworn views but to old values that will never wear out. So let us reject the counsel of retreat and the call to reaction by the opposition. Let us go forward in the knowledge that history only helps those who help themselves; we can only help ourselves by voting in APGA candidates in this election because at the end of our journey and tours, we shall all affirm that the ideal of “Onye Aghana Nwa nne ya” what will champion our state’s cause anywhere, and on behalf of Ndi Anambra we ask you to restate and reaffirm that timeless truth of our party. This is what the poor and the middle class demands of Ndi Anambra and Ndi Igbo. The poor may be out of political fashion, but they are not without human feel, sense and dreams; the middle class may be angry, but they have not lost the dream that all Anambra society can advance together when we vote in APGA Senators and House of Representative Members in this year’s election so that as brothers they will work together with our governor whom we have vote in through APGA. When that is done, we assure our people a state of exemplary fair prosperity and a just society are within our vision and our grasp as APGA ruled state, we are sure that together as one people, the people of Anambra can make a difference when APGA represents us in the Senate and House of Reps.
PDP do not have any answer to our people’s challenges in Anambra state and we do not want them again, even though we do not have every answer to all the people’s challenges because there are questions not yet asked, waiting for us in the recesses of the future, at least we have answers to the ones our people have asked us in the past: Roads, Light, Security, Orderliness, Morality, social development ………we have answered many. But PDP in Anambra state comprises arsonists, they have no answer other than.......... burn down our government house, close down schools and hospitals, introduce barbaric security outfit, kill people, tear gassed laity council men, loot us dry and impose hoodlums as leaders of Anambra state where people like Ojukwu and Zik of Africa hail from. No wonder Chinua Achebe rejected national honors because of PDP rascality in Anambra state. Ndi Anambra, Ndi APGA, do not ever dream of going back to Egypt, PDP is like going back to biblical Egypt because of the long trek to the promise land. We speak out of a deep trust in our capacity to proceed with boldness and a common vision that will feel and heal the suffering of our time and the divisions of our Party. We speak out of a deep sense of urgency about the anguish and anxiety we have seen across land, caused by no other people but some politicos, who always want to create confusion in the land whenever political permutation is not in their favour, do not mind the dissident politicians, and do not listen to those who are telling you otherwise. And may it be said of us, both in dark passages and in bright days, that like the Israelites that we shall never dreamt of returning to Egypt because a “Pharo” that does not know “Joseph” shall arise tomorrow and turn our people and state to a state of perpetual servitude.
In a few hours to go, this campaign will come to an end. And someday, long after these long speeches, talks and treks, long after the signs come down, and the crowds stop cheering, and the bands stop playing, may it be said of our campaign that we kept the faith. May it be said of our Party in 2015 that we found our faith again! For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die so long as we live the Ojukwu dreams and legacy, so long as we vote APGA and guard our votes jealously.
LONG LIVE ANAMBRA STATE OF NIGERIA.
PRO APGA FRONT.

Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu speaking at Mgbuka Nkpor on February 2003.

"Ndi Igbo, APGA is the only party that allows our voices to be heard, and we will continue to fight until we are heard. Consequently, we must ensure that APGA wins Anambra back to back, we must ensure that PDP wins no polling booth in our domain much less of ward, not to talk of winning a legislative seat anywhere in Anambra. We must do this, not because allowing PDP to win will initiate chaos again in Anambra, although it will; not because PDP people will hijack the state government and command it to the detriment of Ndi Anambra, although they will do that if given a chance; not because it means that we Igbo people believe in the possibility of emancipating ourselves politically. We must do it for the single and fundamental reason that it is the right thing to do to ensure that we do not support those PDP elements here that are bent on destroying our state and her future."

Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu speaking at Mgbuka Nkpor on February 2003.

CHIEF (SIR) VICTOR UMEH IS PREPARED FOR THE JOB, VOTE HIM.

Ndi Anambra Central, we urge you all to support us in electing those individuals who shares our objectives and are committed to getting results that shall recreate Nigeria. It is not enough to just elect a Senator, elect a Senator who knows our priorities and should tackle them as sent to the Senate Chambers. The Following issues provide insight to what will occupy the time of Chief (Sir) Victor Umeh as a lawmaker during the legislative sessions we ask you to vote him to represent us:
• Monitor amendments of existing laws: As a Senator Sir Victor Umeh will examine all Laws & Bills due for amendment and know which amendments to accept and which to reject in the interest of the people.
• Umeh will champion discussions centering on tax reform and checking the return of Revenue touts to be checked. In order to keep businesses in Nigeria and create jobs, we must cut spending and lower the tax burden on investors and that is the plan of Senator designate; with our supports, Nigeria would achieve these goals and make Nigeria more economically competitive and headed in the right direction. We know that unemployment is never a price worth paying; we know that Unemployment hurts by breeding such crimes as insurgency. We will never leave people to stand alone on their regrets for the number of jobless youths roaming our streets, our people need good answers to what is holding Nigeria down economically; we have the answer in this noble leader from Anambra Central Senatorial district of Anambra State, Chief Sir Victor Chinonyelum Umeh, give us your support to input the ideas imbedded in him, he will not fail.
• Umeh will sponsor a bill to support Safety of Road users while on the road by sponsoring of bills that will ensure adherence to speed limits by use of speed governors all over Nigeria, and at the same time ensure full implementation of no operation of mobile phones on wheels called "texting-and-driving bans". Umeh will sponsor a bill on aggressive driving, automated enforcement/photo monitoring of driving, child passenger protection, distracted driving, driver’s licensing law reform, impaired driving and road worthiness reform law, motorcycle safety, pedestrian and bike safety, school bus safety, seat belts and occupant protection, senior drivers issues, slow-medium speed vehicles, speed limits, and teen driver issues etc.
• BUDGETING: Umeh will ensure that more Funding for Infrastructure development, Educational support must be a principal fiscal priority in the Senate.
• EXPANDING MEDICAL CARE: Umeh will support and sponsor an Affordable Medical Care Act and ensure that Medical and health care concerns will dominate his legislative discussions; I will sponsor a bill on Patient Protection law in all hospitals, practice reform, prescriptive authority, truth in medical education, and truth in advertising for all health care professions.
• Umeh will support bills that aim at addressing unfunded liabilities and enacting significant reforms on Pensions and Employment Benefits issues; Umeh will sponsor a bill on minimum wage implementation. Workers’ welfare Bill is also top on the agenda for the lawmakers which Umeh hopes to be part of with your support and grace of God.
• Umeh will Support all laws that target free and fair Elections in Nigeria, and support proposals for creation of new wards and States for the people.
• Child Support and Family Law: Umeh will sponsor a bill to enact child welfare legislation, including adoption, foster care, child protection, child welfare services, old peoples care, women protection laws etc. He is coming to Senate to Monitor amendments of our existing laws by identify and moving motions for the repeal of unsound, unduly burdensome laws and regulations that are contained in our constitution. He assured us that he will help enact proper Child Support and Family Law.
These priorities had been ignored or handled with half a quarter interest in the past; but based on these assurances from Chief Sir Victor Umeh, we ask our people to vote him to the Senate. He also promised to help ensure that a law to effect more Job Creation and Taxpayer Protection is enacted and signed; he has assured us that he will work to see that our country encourage the creation of new private sector jobs for our jobless youths, and also ensure that fiscal responsibility is strictly adhered to by our federation government because our people have spoken loud and clear that they want the state to cut spending of our common wealth.
Nigerians, Ndi Igbo gburugburu, we’ve heard what the people said-that need a total change in the way our government handle our affairs, we’re up for the challenge of change, we as a party are on the side of the majority suffering masses. We shall not let you all down; we shall do what we said we will do without sentiments. We APGA men are for the total Liberation of Nigerians. Support our candidate: Chief Sir Victor Chinonyelum Umeh, to serve not only Anambra Central Senatorial district of Anambra State, but to bring on board those initiatives that will surely transform Nigeria as a whole. Support APGA candidates everywhere in South Eastern Nigeria, we are not afraid to do the wishes of the people, Vote APGA to ensure you voted right.
We progressives who believe in shifting power back to the people have been inspired to embrace the right kind of change not the wrong kind of change, we are inspired to support Chief Sir Victor Umeh in the project of representing Anambra Central at the Senate during the 2015-2019 legislative year because we believe in his capabilities or giving the entire Igbo nation a distinct voice on the floor of the house where the future of a new Nigeria will be decided in the next few years, and are determined to make these vision manifest.
Thanks.
